During the summertime highs here at Duck Pond reach the 90's, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, frequently in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 60's; during the dark hours in the winter at Duck Pond temperatures drop to the 30's. Lakes? Sure, Riverside Lake is around here; some of the water close by flows,       like Bray Mill Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Duck Pond a wet place; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here while October is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Brewton-Days Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two; if you came for an overnight stay Black Jack Creek Camp Ground is a magnificent site to camp. Duck Pond truly is in the middle of a beautiful                  outdoors paradise. Not far from Duck Pond, you'll discover Jones Lake which is a picturesque lake.
