     This is a great area for people who like lakes. King Pond is a lake close by, and if you need a site to stay Microtel Inn and Suites Bushnell is a good choice. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Center Pond, and there are plenty of folks from The Villages here at Drawdy Pond. Summertime at Drawdy Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. The cold days of the winter  
   come with highs in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Drawdy Pond. A great site to camp here at Drawdy Pond is Red Barn Campground.
Drawdy Pond is a wet site that gets a lot of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. Drawdy Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Blueberry Hill Recreational Vehicle Park is a magnificent local campground, and a delightful nearby hotel is Days Inn Brooksville.
