Double Ponds is a wet site that gets a lot of precipitation; during the month of July you get the most rain around here while October is regularly the driest month. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Double Ponds. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a great spot to spend a night or       two. Stay the night at Dogwood Acres, and Hudson Hill is uncomplicated to spot from Double Ponds. Holiday Inn Express CHIPLEY is a perfect site to get some rest, and you'll stumble on a striking lake called Hudson Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Gap Branch is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to, and lakes are such serene places, why not pop by Baptizing Pond. At Double Ponds during the warm months highs are in the 90's. When the night                  sets in temperatures descend down into the 70's.
