And that's not all you can do here at Dorman Pond. Take a look at nearby Gum Slough. Camping at Suwannee River State Park is always a great experience; not far from Dorman Pond you'll locate White Lake which is a gorgeous lake. Summertime at Dorman Pond comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Throughout       the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 70's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 60's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Dorman Pond tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Suwannee River, and a brilliant close by hotel is Econo Lodge Live Oak. Dorman Pond is a wet place that gets much rainfall; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October.
