If you are in Lee county it's always a good idea to stop by Dinken Bayou. Dinken Bayou sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Braynerd Bayou is right close by; Pine Island Rv is a delightful campground nearby. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Dinken Bayou, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's.

Sanibel Beach Club (Vri) is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Alden Pines Country Club is a nice golf course close by, and dry warm beds await you at Tween Waters Inn. Not far from Dinken Bayou you hit upon Halloway Bayou; St James City Koa Kampground is a pleasant local campground.
