If you are in Columbia county it's always a good idea to stop by Dicks Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a good little tour to Falling Creek, and if you come at the right time of year, Suwannee River offers some brilliant whitewater. Dicks Lake generally gets a large amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month is October. What a place this is for outdoors folks.
