A great nearby hotel is Waterfront Inn, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Prairie Trail. If you need a site to stay Sleep Inn & Suites is a pleasant choice, and golf can be played at Continental Country Club R O. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Deaton, you could also visit lovely Evans Prairie; you can stay       the night at Lake Deaton RV Park. Summer at Lake Deaton comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and the overnight is quite chillier of course, generally in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's, and night lows through the winter for Lake Deaton tend to be in the 40's. Lake Deaton is a quite wet place regularly with lots of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most; October is the                  month with the least moisture. Here at Lake Deaton you'll probably meet some folks from The Villages.
