A great location to camp here at Cypress Pond is Vortex Spring, and if you've had enough of Cypress Pond, Baptising Pond is close by. Some of the water nearby flows, like Carlisle Lake, and swamps are interesting sites and Raley Pond right next door to Cypress Pond is no exception. Best Value Inn - Defuniak Springs is a great place to get some rest. The warmest time of the year at Cypress       Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's.
