     Best Western Crossroads Inn is a glorious location to get some rest, and explore close by Evans Slough. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cypress Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sandy Pines Recreational Vehicle Park, and Sherfield Bend is an out of the ordinary place to explore while at Cypress Pond. While you're here at Cypress Pond, you could also go to charming Still Pond, and getting to Chapel Branch from Cypress Pond is easy. Cypress  
   Pond is a wet spot that gets much rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most; October is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Cypress Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Dogwood Acres is a magnificent location for that; you'll come across a pretty lake called Reeves Pond. What a place this is for outdoors people. The warmest time of the year brings
 
               highs in the 90's to Cypress Pond while night lows are mostly in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 60's with temperatures at Cypress Pond dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
