Coon Head is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. All through the summer months highs here at Cypress Pond get into the 90's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 50's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Cypress Pond drop into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Holiday Lakes Travel Park is always       a great experience, and a magnificent close by hotel is Comfort Inn Crestview. If the weather is brilliant here at Cypress Pond, you can go for a hike along the Conecuh Trail; Cypress Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Action On Blackwater Canoe Rental and Campground is a glorious local campground. Cypress Pond gets a large amount of water; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is October.
