All the outdoors fun stuff in close proximity to Crooked Pond will keep you coming back many times. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express CHIPLEY, and swing by Dip Vat Branch it's a brilliant spot to visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Blue Bay is right nearby, and Gator Hole is not far at all.       While you're here at Crooked Pond you can play some golf at Sunny Hills Golf Club, and there are other places here than Crooked Pond, for example Graveyard Pond. Not far from Crooked Pond, you'll come across Ditch Pond which is a scenic lake, and Crooked Pond is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Dogwood Acres is a good spot to camp nearby. Crooked Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest of the                  months is October. At Crooked Pond throughout the days of summer highs are in the 90's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, typically in the 70's.
