There's great hiking along the Baptist Lake Trasil, and you can stay the night at Wild woods Resort. And that's not all you can do here at Crooked Lake. If you need a location to stay Lake View Motel is a good choice. Don't leave Crooked Lake without first going for a hike along the Flatwoods Trail; Tropical Resort and Marina is a pleasant place to get some rest. Crooked Lake is a rather wet place mostly       with much rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while November is commonly the driest month. High temperatures at Crooked Lake during the summertime are in the 90's. Summer night lows drop down to the 70's. All through the winter highs are in the 60's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Crooked Lake temperatures fall to the 40's. Good hiking is available along the Ocala National Recreation Trail, and Crooked Lake is not the                  only place close by, Wildcat Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful.
