The Baptist Lake Trasil is a brilliant hiking trail in close proximity to Crooked Lake, and a gorgeous lake like Gobbler Lake is a perfect place to visit. Going for a hike along the Flatwoods Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Parramore's Campground while you're here at Crooked Lake; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Ocala National Recreation       Trail. During the summer months at Crooked Lake highs are regularly in the 90's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Crooked Lake. A great site to camp here at Crooked Lake is Wild woods Resort; a delightful close by hotel is Ecom Lodge.
