Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Coon Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Coon Pond. If you get bored of Coon Pond, you could also take a look at nearby Lindsey Lake. There's so much       to do here at Coon Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Rainbow State Parkrings State Park is a delightful site for that. Coon Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Rainbow's End Golf & Country Club is a delightful way to kill some time, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Homosassa Springs here.                  Quality Inn Crystal River is a splendid location to get some rest, and Coon Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Withlacoochee Backwaters Mobile Home and RV Park is a pleasant local campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things close to Coon Pond.
