Connell Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Sandy Oaks RV Park is a magnificent local campground; a lake nearby is Cato Lake. Best Western Citrus Hills Lodge is a wonderful site to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Connell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cove Campground is a fine location for that, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf       course like Lakeside Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites INVERNESS is a fine choice, and you're sure to encounter some wonderful people from Homosassa Springs here. For the period of the summertime months here at Connell Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's, and winter                  nights come with lows in the 40's to Connell Lake.
