Best Western Inn Of Palatka is a magnificent place to get some rest; Cresent City Campground is a splendid local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Near Clear Lake you discover a golf course called Live Oak Golf & Country Club; if you need a spot to stay Lake View Motel is a fine choice. A wonderful lake like Lake Trowed near Clear Lake is a great location to stop at, and going for       a hike on the Ocala National Recreation Trail is always a great adventure. Throughout the summer months, highs typically are in the 90's at Clear Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's, and overnight lows in the 40's for Clear Lake. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Clear Lake. At Clear Lake you always meet someone from Palatka.
