A gorgeous lake like Deerhaven Lake in the vicinity of Clay Lake is a delightful site to have a look at, and if you came to camp Deerhaven Campgrounds is a great place to do that. Through the warmest time of the year at Clay Lake highs are frequently in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures       sink down into the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's while Clay Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 40's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Clay Lake a wet spot; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is November. A great close by hotel is Tropical Resort and Marina, and the Flatwoods Trail is a good hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful.
