Dunedin Beach is right next door to Lake Citrus if you're in a beach type of mood, and if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Clearwater/U.S. Hwy 19 N is a fine choice. Lake Citrus gets lots of water; through August this area sees the most rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Dunedin RV Resort is a great campground nearby, and this is a popular place for folks from Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater. Not far

Throughout the summertime months at Lake Citrus highs are commonly in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 70's.
