Wilson Marsh is a swamp in close proximity to Charley Pond, and the good folks of The Villages like to hang out close by. Enjoy a round of golf at Cranes Roost Golf Course not far from Charley Pond; a good close by hotel is Wildwood Inn. Charley Pond is a quite       wet place ordinarily with a lot of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is October.
