A lake close by is Collinsworth Pond It's always good to stop at Weaver Springs. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Center Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sunset King Lake RV Resort, and dry warm beds await you at Defuniak Springs Super 8 Motel. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Center Pond while night lows are mostly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's       with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Center Pond. Center Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. Swamps don’t sound that great but Ealum Bay close to Center Pond is reasonably great. This lake is so wonderful.
