There's so much to do here at Cato Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cove Campground is a delightful site for that, and playing golf is lots of fun at Lakeside Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Cato Lake there are plenty of people from Homosassa Springs; if you need a place to stay Windmill Drive Apartments is a fine       choice. Why not pop by Point Lonesome also while you're here, and there are other locations here than Cato Lake, for example Connell Lake. This place, Cato Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. A perfect nearby hotel is The Central Motel. For the period of the summer here at Cato Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 70's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the                  60's with temperatures at Cato Lake dipping down into the 40's during winter nights.
