Camping at Carl Pond is tremendous fun, Dogwood Acres is a tremendous local campground, and the friendly people of Panama City-Lynn Haven like to hang out close by. The high level of precipitation makes Carl Pond a pretty wet site; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. Having a pleasant time at Carl Pond is simple. Why       not camp at Paradise Lakes Resort if you're here at Carl Pond, and after a long day outdoors Bennets Reef is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Carl Pond is not the only place nearby, Log Creek Pond is a nearby lake, and a perfect close by hotel is Ebro Motel. For the duration of the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 90's at Carl Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come                  with highs in the 60's while Carl Pond nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 30's.
