Whitewater paddling is glorious on Suwannee River, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Live Oak is a fine location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Campground Lake, you'll stumble on Lake Louise which is a scenic lake, and camping is available at Lee's Country Campground. Campground Lake gets a large amount of water;       the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while October is regularly the driest month. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. If you came for an overnight stay Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park is a nice spot to camp. High temperatures at Campground Lake through the days of summer are in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are in                  the 60's with temperatures at Campground Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. Lakes?
