Do go to Sand Pond next to Camp Pond, it's a lovely lake, and an afternoon playing golf       at Chiefland Golf and Country Club is always a delight. All the water falling down from the sky makes Camp Pond a wet location; the month with most of the rain is July, and October on the other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year at Camp Pond comes with high temperatures in the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's.
