The warmest time of the year at Camel Pond comes with high temperatures in the 90's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 70's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Camel Pond descend into the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Camel       Pond, you'll come across Franklin Pond which is a picturesque lake; if you like swamps you're in luck, Johnson Juniper Swamp is right close by. Camel Pond is a pretty wet place generally with much rain; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is April. There are delightful places to explore along the Trail of the Lakes, and Fillman Hill Bay is not far at all. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close                  by Little Camel Pond, and camping at Big Gully Landing Campground is always a fine experience.
