Fourmile Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and if you came for an overnight stay Hart Springs Park is a splendid spot to camp. Buttonwood Pond is a reasonably wet place generally with a lot of precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Chiefland, Fl is a great place       to spend a night or two, and Otter Springs RV Resort is a pleasant campground here. High temperatures at Buttonwood Pond through the warmest time of the year are in the 90's while overnight lows are frequently in the 70's.
