It's always fun to stop by Buck Pond. A quick trip to Brushy Creek near Buck Pond is a tremendous idea, and don't miss out on a tremendous swamp; Long Prairie is right here at Buck Pond. That right there is heaps already, but it carries on; Buck Pond has it all. This lake is so wonderful. Buck Pond is not the only spot close by, Adams Lake is a close by lake, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Suwannee Valley Inn is a glorious choice.

| | Delaney Prairie, and Buck Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Shady Oaks RV and Mobile Home is a good local campground. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Buck Pond get into the 90's; the overnight is a tad colder of course, usually in the 70's. Through the winter highs are in the 60's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Buck Pond. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Chiefland, Fl is a good spot to spend a night or two, | |

and a delightful place to camp here at Buck Pond is Suwannee Plantation Campground.
Buck Pond gets a great deal of water; August is the wettest month with most rain; October is the month with the least moisture.
