This is a great region for people who like lakes. Doe Pond is a lake close by; a wonderful nearby hotel is Brooksville Days Inn. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Brown Pond while night lows are ordinarily in the 70's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 70's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Brown Pond drop into the 40's. Brown Pond       is a pretty wet place mostly with a lot of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is October. Camping at Webster Mobile Home Park is always a good experience, and if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Bushnell is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful.
