A visit to Brown Lake is always a good idea. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Brown Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big Gully Landing Campground, and Dicks Point is not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Panama City Beach, FL is a delightful location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Brown Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Scotts Ferry General Store is a magnificent site for that.

| | Brown Lake is a relatively wet place ordinarily with a good deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July; April on the other hand is the driest.
For the period of the summertime highs here at Brown Lake get into the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 60's, and nighttime lows at Brown Lake through the winter ordinarily plunge into the 40's. Hiking along the Trail of the Lakes is nice fun, and Brown Lake is not the only site close by, Queen City Lake is a close by lake.
