Go to Bristow Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. The peak of Rocky Mound can be seen from Bristow Lake, and Lakeside At Barth is a tremendous campground here. Lots of rain falls at Bristow Lake; July is the month that gets the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you need a place to stay Atmore Days Inn is a wonderful choice; Bristow Lake is a great spot to camp, Adventures Unlimited Canoe is a great spot.

| | All through the warm days of summer here at Bristow Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Bristow Lake are in the 30's.
