After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Live Oak is a good site to spend a night or two; a lake close by is Bachelor Lake. You can run the rapids of Suwannee River in close proximity to Brim Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Brim Pond a wet location; the month with most of the rain is August, and October on the other hand is the driest. Through the summertime       months at Brim Pond temperatures are commonly in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 70's. All through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 60's; during the dark hours in the winter at Brim Pond temperatures dip to the 30's. Falling Creek is a glorious whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Brim Pond; if you came for an overnight stay Suwannee River State Park is a delightful site to camp.
