A great deal of rain falls at Boyd Lake; during July this area sees the most rain, and November on the other hand is the driest. Boyd Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Wild woods Resort is a nice local campground, and going for a hike on the Flatwoods Trail is always a brilliant adventure. There's so much to do here at Boyd Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Parramore's Campground is a       glorious location for that, and Lake View Motel is a good site to get some rest. This is a tremendous neighborhood for people who like lakes. Crooked Lake is a lake close at hand, and you can go for a hike on the Baptist Lake Trasil. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do in the neighborhood of Boyd Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Schimmerhorn Lake is right next door to Boyd Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Tropical                  Resort and Marina is a good choice; don't leave Boyd Lake without first going for a hike along the Ocala National Recreation Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Boyd Lake while overnight lows are regularly in the 70's.
