The winter brings highs down to the 60's; overnight lows through the winter for Border Lake tend to be in the 40's. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Border Lake has to offer, you can camp at Encore RV Park-tampa North. A good close by hotel is Orlando Vista Hotel, and lots of people from Orlando come here.
