Swamps don’t sound that great but Long Prairie in close proximity to Booth Lake is reasonably great, and Fish Prairie is a great spot here at Booth Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably addicted to lakes, Dixon Lake is one of those close by, and camping at Shady Oaks RV and Mobile Home is always a great experience.       A pleasant place to camp here at Booth Lake is Suwannee Plantation Campground, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Suwannee Valley Inn is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. This spot is peerless, just check out all the cool things to do near Booth Lake. This is a delightful region for people who like lakes. Adams Lake is a lake close by. Booth Lake gets lots of water; August is when you get the most rain here, and October on the other hand is                  the driest. High temperatures at Booth Lake during the warm months are in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 70's.
