While you're here at Bonnet Lake, you could also check out pretty Scoggin Lake. at Fort Matanzas National Monument will blow your mind, and Burnt Out Bay is an out of the ordinary swamp close to Bonnet Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Holiday Inn DAYTONA BEACH LPGA BLVD; while you're
here and you like golf, you can stop by River Bend Golf Club. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bonnet Lake a wet place; most of the rain falls during July, and the driest month is November.
