So much fun stuff right next door to Blue Lake, truly tremendous. Blue Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rain; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is December. If you came to camp Deland/Orange City KOA is a fine location to do that. There's so much to do here at Blue Lake that       you need to camp here for a while, Hontoon Island State Park is a magnificent location for that. Throughout the summer months here at Blue Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 70's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 60's; during the dark hours in the winter at Blue Lake temperatures drop to the 40's. This lake is so wonderful.
