What a nice lake Blue Lake is. Blue Lake is a pretty wet place typically with a good deal of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is October. If you need a location to stay Econo Lodge Live Oak is a tremendous choice. Dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inns Live Oak; you can stay the night at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground.

| | kayak, and Bandy Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. Paddling on Suwannee River is so much fun, and Blue Lake is a fine place to camp, Suwannee River State Park is a fine place. At Blue Lake throughout the warm months highs are in the 90's while night lows are ordinarily in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Blue Lake.
