You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area next to Blue Lake has to offer. Going for a hike on the Prairie Trail is always a perfect adventure. There is a great hiking trail near Blue Lake called the Baptist Lake Trasil, and Blue Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Lakeside RV is a wonderful local campground. A lot of rainfall falls at Blue Lake;       July is the month that gets the most rain; November is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Blue Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 60's with temperatures at Blue Lake dipping down into the 40's during winter nights. A great nearby hotel is Ecom Lodge, and nearby you hit upon the Flatwoods Trail which is a good hiking trail. After a long day outdoors Comfort                  Inn Mt. Dora is a fine place to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Clear Lake is around here. This lake is so wonderful.
