If you like swamps, you're in luck, Tinney Creek is right close by, and St. Petersburg Marriott Pinellas Park is a perfect place to get some rest. The high level of rainfall makes Blue Heron Lake a quite wet place; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and April is the month with the least moisture. Don't forget to take a brilliant little spree to Grassy Creek, and       if you're a golfer then a good close by course is Mainlands Golf Course. If you came to camp Treasure Village Mobile Home is a magnificent location to do that; at Blue Heron Lake you always meet someone from Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do next to Blue Heron Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Blue Heron Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Robert's Moblie Home and RV Resort is a magnificent                  place for that, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a tremendous choice. At Blue Heron Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 70's.
