A perfect site to camp here at Black Lake is Dogwood Acres, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Chipley, Fl. Black Lake frequently gets a large amount of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is October. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a tremendous choice, and unsurprisingly Kersey Branch is a wonderful       stream that is worth visiting. The warmest time of the year at Black Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 60's while Black Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's.
