If you are in this part of Florida make sure to pay a visit to Bird Pond. Bird Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Bird Pond. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Bird Pond.

Stay the night at Original Suwannee River Camp; why not visit a swamp like Dark Bay while you're here at Bird Pond. Mayo Blue Springs Park is a brilliant campground here, and if you need a location to stay Scottish Inns Live Oak is a magnificent choice.
