Through the long summer days, highs generally are in the 90's at Big Pond, and the nighttime is a little chillier of course, mostly in the 70's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Big Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Big Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Trail's End       Camp is a good location for that, and don't forget to take a brilliant little visit to Gum Slough. Big Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Duval's RV Park is a great local campground, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by The Villages. Dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn and Suites Bushnell, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Battle Slough is right close by. Big Pond is a pretty wet place mostly with a great                  deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Big Pond rules!
