Bell Pond is an interesting swamp next to Big Bay Lake; you'll find a striking lake called Little Bay Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Rainbow's End Golf & Country Club, and a picturesque lake like       Buck Lake is a glorious place to visit. Big Bay Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Fin and Feather Fish Camp and Trlr is a tremendous local campground, and if you're visiting from Homosassa Springs, you won't be the only one. Big Bay Lake is a rather wet place regularly with a large amount of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is October. The warmest time of the year at Big Bay Lake comes with high                  temperatures in the 90's; the night is a little chillier of course, typically in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Big Bay Lake drop into the 40's. So many cool things to do here at Big Bay Lake, too good to be true.
