Bens Lake is a quite wet place usually with a large amount of precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here, and April is when it's the driest. During the warm days of summer highs here at Bens Lake reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's;       nighttime lows through the winter for Bens Lake tend to be in the 30's. Why not camp at Destin Camp Grounds since you're here at Bens Lake; while you're here and you like golf, you can stop by Shalimar Pointe Golf & Country Club. A wonderful site to camp here at Bens Lake is Bayview Campground; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Lower Memorial Lake. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff                  to do here at Bens Lake. A good nearby hotel is Four Points by Sheraton Destin-Fort Walton Beach, and you're sure to stumble upon some friendly people from Fort Walton Beach-Crestview-Destin here. This lake is so wonderful.
