A lot of rainfall falls at Lake Bedford; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful. Alligator Creek is a great local stream, and after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn & Suites Waldo is a great site to spend a night or two. Life's too       short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff next to Lake Bedford. At Lake Bedford during the summer highs are in the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Bedford temperatures sink to the 40's. If you came for an overnight stay Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park is a perfect location to camp, and do explore Bolt Lake, it's a beautiful                  lake.
