The high level of precipitation makes Bay Lake a quite wet place; August is when you get the most rain here, and December meanwhile is the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at Ecom Lodge, and a fine spot to camp here at Bay Lake is Katie's wekiva River Landing.       Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Deerhaven Campgrounds is always a delightful experience; don't leave Bay Lake without first going for a hike along the Flatwoods Trail. You're sure to bump into some nice people from Orlando here, and good hiking is available along the Baptist Lake Trasil. Through the summer months at Bay Lake highs are ordinarily in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer                  temperatures sink down into the 70's.
