Near Bass Lake you find the Flatwoods Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and Lakeside Inn is a good place to get some rest. Going for a hike on the Baptist Lake Trasil is always a brilliant adventure, and camping at Bass Lake is good fun, Deerhaven Campgrounds is a good local campground. At Bass Lake through the warm months highs are in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs       in the 60's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Bass Lake dip into the 40's. Alexander Springs Recreation is a great campground here, and there are other spots here than Bass Lake, for example Lake Akron. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Bass Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Ocala National Recreation Trail; if you need a spot to stay Ecom Lodge is a wonderful choice.
