Baptist Lake generally gets much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Mt. Dora. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Baptist Lake Trasil; on a great day you can check out Devils Bay, a swamp near       Baptist Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Twin Lakes Reserve & Golf Club; Baptist Lake is a nice place to camp, Ocala Forest Campground is a nice place. Take a hike on the Prairie Trail, and after a long day outdoors Ecom Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two. Baptist Lake is right by the Flatwoods Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Baptist Lake has to offer, you can camp at Olde Mill Stream                  RV Park. Through the summertime months here at Baptist Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's.
