Shady Acres Travel Park is a great campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Pink Shell Beach Resort. Any time is a fine time at Balsam Lake if you go for the outdoors. Balsam Lake is a wet location that gets much rain; June is the wettest month with most rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month. If you need a site to stay Homewood Suites by Hilton-«Fort Myer is a pleasant choice, and if you came for an       overnight stay Shady Acres RV Park is a fine site to camp. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not visit Cedar Lake right next door to Balsam Lake, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Cape Coral-Fort Myers. Throughout the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 90's at Balsam Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 70's while the cold winter nights at Balsam Lake are in                  the 50's. This lake is so wonderful.
