The location of the class II is at 30.339806,-82.683384 We spent a week on the river about 15 years ago when I was in boy scouts. Starting at the FL/GA border and working our way down. The section of rapids that I have marked are by far the worst but fun. I used Google maps to mark the area. Also there is an old building over a spring within the park that you can swim in without much issue that is near the train tracks. A bunch of fun to say the least. ...I am a lady of 39 years of age and rowed the Swannee when I was a teen. I can not tell you how many times I have spoken about my experience! I treasure this experience so much. We were a group of about 10 and camped and had a great time. Nature taught us from young to respect what God has given us...I thank those counsellors who introduced us to the other side of life and getting fresh air and making making life worth knowing about and respecting. Enjoy the river! I am a native Floridian and I love my state! Welcome and please pick up after yourselves and keep the litter where it needs to be...remember yogi ;)...
