Argenta Lake is not far at all from Palatka, and Stella Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. Argenta Lake frequently gets a lot of rain; August is the month that gets the most rain; April is when it's the driest. Hideaway Cove Camping & Fish is a delightful local campground, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Ocala National Recreation Trail. Summertime at Argenta Lake comes with high       temperatures in the 90's while overnight lows are commonly in the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Argenta Lake fall into the 40's. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable stuff to do close to Argenta Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Crescent Resort is a nice place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Do check out Lake Omega in close proximity to Argenta Lake,                  it's a lovely lake, and Best Western Inn Of Palatka is a delightful spot to get some rest.
